Bio

I am a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I graduated, with honors, from Hampton University with a B.S. degree in Accounting.

I found my passion for helping others gain control of their financial well-being when I began volunteering with the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society. I continued volunteering my time by facilitating Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University. During this same time, I expanded my financial education by attending Boston University and earning a graduate certificate in financial planning.

As a committed community servant, I’ve also volunteered my financial management expertise at VITA offices as an Internal Revenue Service registered tax preparer.

All of this work culminated in my selection as a 2011 Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), Military Spouse Fellow. This coveted fellowship authorized me to intern with the Army Community Service’s Financial Readiness office, further contributing to the financial health of my military community. In 2012, I successfully completed the fellowship and was designated an Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC)®.

I began Ingram Financial Management in 2011 to provide trusted personal income tax preparation and financial education. My areas of expertise include; Military Tax Matters, Multi-State Returns, Small Businesses, Residential Rentals, and the Foreign Earned Income Exclusion. I authored The MilSpouse Guide to Using the Military Spouse Residency Relief Act (MSRRA) as a resource to my community to prevent over-taxation. I participate in the optional Internal Revenue Service Annual Filing Season Program as a commitment to the professionalism I aim to offer each client.

As the spouse of an active duty Marine and mom of three young adults, I have first-hand experience in both the challenges and rewards of military life!
